In March, we celebrated OLM’s annual Marriage Preparation course. With Mike Schneider’s retirement (thanks again Mike for all your years and variety of service to OLM!), Mariola and I were joined for the first time by Maria Mahon and Greg de Chambure to lead the course.

We had one of our largest groups ever, with six couples preparing for this joyful sacrament. In true OLM style, they represented 10 different nationalities from 3 continents.

After a delicious lunch prepared by Fr Ron himself, we spent the afternoon discussing traditional topics such as theology of marriage, family of origin, finances, communication/conflict, and raising children in the faith. All of these subjects were infused with particular elements of the multi-cultural and multi-lingual marriages that are typical in our OLM community.
