Prayer Group

The power of prayer is infinite. And no more so than now do we feel the need to ask the Lord for his help and guidance, amid all the tragedy in the world due to conflict, widespread displacement, poverty and famine.  

OLM started up its own Prayer Group during the global pandemic. It was initially an online event, taking place on the last Tuesday of each month at 8pm. However, over the last year, we have alternated online meetings with presential meetings. So every second month, we meet on a Sunday after Mass, at 1215, in one of our Parish rooms. In both cases, the structure is the same. We come together for about an hour, during which we pray together, reflect on a specific scripture passage and then pray for our own intentions and those which have been sent to us.

The group now consists of 16 members and we would be delighted to welcome more! If you can’t make the session but would like to send us a prayer request, feel free to do that! Please send an email to Judy at ourladyofmercy.info
