The power of prayer is infinite. And no more so than now do we feel the need to ask the Lord for his help and guidance, amid all the tragedy in the world due to conflict, widespread displacement, poverty and famine.  

OLM started up its own Prayer Group during the global pandemic. It was initially an online event, taking place on the last Tuesday of each month at 8pm. However, our meetings are now solely presential. So we get together usually on the last Sunday of the month, after Mass, at 1215 pm in one of the Parish rooms. We come together for about an hour, during which we pray together, reflect on a specific scripture passage and then pray for our own intentions and those which have been sent to us. Our focus on prayer is further boosted by our Whatsapp group. This is dedicated purely to attending the many prayer requests we receive from parishioners. We also pray Novenas for our intentions.
