OLM WhatsApp Community Get information on OLM events. Join OLM's different Ministries/Groups. Clarify any OLM related queries.

The OLM WhatsApp community is a collection of all the official OLM Ministry and Volunteer Groups on WhatsApp
By joining the community, people can list all groups and read the descriptions of the groups.
Members can also request for access to groups. The group owner (ministry leader) is responsible for contacting the individual and adding them to the group after vetting.
Being part of a community also enables community members to receive announcements from Father and Parish Council without being part of a specific group. (We promise not to spam you). It’s like the newsletter with bite-sized information sent via WhatApp instead of email. (You can choose to mute this)
Community members can also ask questions and receive responses via the feedback channel. (you can choose not to be part of this feedback channel)
Groups retain their autonomy and continue to have the exact same features as current groups do.
Only community admins can see individual’s phone numbers.

• Please note that joining the community is Absolutely optional … but you will always wonder what you are missing out on at OLM!

If you have a group you would like to add to the community, please make a note of the following and communicate it to your group as well:

• If a group is added to the community, the members of the group are automatically part of the community and will receive announcements that are broadcast to the whole community. (they can choose to mute this channel) 
• Your group needs to have the following settings:
  • Only group admins can add new members.
  • A description that explains what the ministry/group is about. Expectations from the team members – eg: arrive 15 minutes before mass, Membership by invitation only … etc.
  • Group rules (we have a list of generic rules that can be modified to suit your needs)
