This comes a little late – sorry, a busy week.
1) This Sunday will be a nice normal Easter season Sunday. Fr. Ron preaches and presides. We received a beautiful email from a grateful person who connects to our Mass via our live stream offering help for the parish. The offer includes material donations such as computers and office furniture, and possibly some educational training. More on that soon.
2) We do depend upon your donations, so if you really feel a part of the OLM family, please do not neglect to make a donation via paypal or bank transfer. (paypal charges a commission).
3 ) A kind parishioner mentioned that RANDSTAD is looking for temp help on election day next week, I do not have more details, if you are interested, check out RANDSTAD.
I just want to mention that I will have three First Communion celebrations this upcoming May. Also, my Spanish clergy help will be less available, so I am going to be even more pressed for time. (Don’t forget that I am also pastor of the Spanish parish). Someone made an appointment with me and never showed up – these things don’t help. Pray for me, I am doing my best.
4) There will be a Mass with anointing of the sick on May 10th at 7:30 PM. It will be in Spanish, but I will be there if anyone wants to receive the sacrament in English.
Be blessed and hopeful,
Fr. Ron
Sunday School
A young boy came to Sunday school late. His teacher knew that he was usually very prompt and asked him if anything was wrong.

The boy replied that he was going to go fishing, but his dad told him that he needed to go to church.

The teacher was very impressed and asked the boy if his dad had explained to him why it was more important to go to church than to go fishing, to which the boy replied, “Yes, Dad said he didn’t have enough bait for both of us.”
