Hope you are hanging in there! Life does go on, in spite of the Coronavirus.
This Sunday we do the most important thing we do, we gather for Sunday Eucharist. I can’t recall exactly how many came last Sunday but it was well below the legal limit of 30% occupancy. There is plenty of room for social distancing and with the cooler weather we can easily provide more than ample ventilation. Last Sunday’s rendition of “Precious Lord” during the Preparation of the gifts is still calming my spirit! Thank you music ministers!!
We found a fearless electrician to climb a ladder and repair the dimmed lights behind our huge cross. I am happy to say the light of the cross is now shining brightly, a beautiful reminder of the hope that all Christians should hold in our hearts!
Fr. Michael will be presiding and preaching on Sunday.
I will be there too!
Be blessed and hopeful,
Fr. Ron

Please Don’t Let Me Be Late
A little girl, dressed in her Sunday best, was running as fast as she could, trying not to be late for Bible class. As she ran she prayed, “Dear Lord, please don’t let me be late! Dear Lord, please don’t let me be late!”

As she was running and praying, she tripped on a curb and fell, getting her clothes dirty and tearing her dress. She got up, brushed herself off, and started running again.

As she ran she once again began to pray, “Dear Lord, please don’t let me be late!…But don’t push me either.”
