Sorry so late this week. Today will be a full Sunday at OLM:
Today: Mass intention for Isidoro Gonzalo Rodriguez, the father of Isidoro Gonzalo Bono on the one year anniversary of his passing into new and everlasting life.
TodayFood collection for the struggling members of our parish family (should have been last week but I forgot to mention)
Today Book Sale after Mass
Today: Baptisms at Mass!
My only excuse for forgetting is that I am getting old! As a matter of fact, today is my birthday and I thank God for the great gift of life. May God give me the grace to use it wisely and share it generously.
Next Sunday: William and Jonás will be combining the two youth groups for a day of community building and bonding. Since it has turned cold, they thought that an indoor activity might be a better option and so have decided on bowling. hey will make an announcement today and all interested youth are invited to join in this positive Christian gathering.
See you soon and be blessed,
Fr. Ron

PS, this week I renewed my Spanish Driver’s license until I am 70 years old! Thus the joke:
At a nursing home in Florida, a group of senior citizens were sitting around talking about their aches and pains. “My arms are so weak I can hardly lift this cup of coffee,” said one.

“I know what you mean. My cataracts are so bad I can’t even see my coffee,” replied another.

“I can’t turn my head because of the arthritis in my neck,” said a third, to which several nodded weakly in agreement.

“My blood pressure pills make me dizzy,” another contributed.

“I guess that’s the price we pay for getting old,” winced an old man as he slowly shook his head. Then there was a short moment of silence.

“Well, it’s not that bad,” said one woman cheerfully. “Thank God we can all still drive.”
