The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is for those who are interested in finding out more about the Catholic faith. It is also for those adults who have been baptised but have not yet received First Communion or Confirmation or for those who have not attended church for a long time and feel they would like to be part of the community once more. Sessions are held every Sunday at 1:15 and last around 45 minutes.

Eric and RCIA teacher Michael Schneider

The decision to join the Catholic Church is a very serious one and it must not be rushed. There must be enough time allowed for prayerful discernment, and investigation. At OLM, we have been privileged to accompany many people from all over the world on their journey to full communion with the Catholic Church. Many of our permanent parishioners have been sponsors for the newly initiated.

RCIA class every Sunday 01.00 PM

We cannot tell you exactly how long the process takes, it depends upon the individual. We try to incorporate as many of the stages of the official RCIA as possible and our community takes an active interest in the progress of our candidates. For many years now, we have received permission from the Cardinal of Madrid to celebrate the initiation rites at our Easter Sunday Eucharist.

If you are interested, please join us at any Sunday Mass and speak to Fr. Ron.
