Alex Esclamado

Alex Esclamado has only been in the OLM choir for two years, but now it’s hard to remember how we ever got along without him; it’s still surprising, and impressive, to recall how someone who came into the choir practically on tiptoe could sing “Precious Lord” the way he did the first time we heard him, with such deep feeling, spirituality, and technical perfection.
Alex’s arrival was yet further evidence that God keeps an eye on us, and that is why He sent us someone who was, for a decade, a soloist at the chapel of the University of California at Berkeley, with a matchless tenor voice and a fine guitar technique; someone who, thanks to his years of experience, had an in-depth knowledge of modern liturgical music, and knew our repertoire forwards and backwards from day one.
On top of all that, Alex has become OLM’s leading sound technician, as well as occasionally filling in as a substitute pianist for Dani. Just call him our “one-man band”.
